THINKWARE CLOUD: GEO-FENCING
Get alerted, via your Thinkware smartphone app, when your vehicle travels outside of a set specific area.
With Geo-Fencing now part of the Thinkware's Cloud App, you can stay alerted to your vehicle's movement. You can set up a virtual ring around a desired area centered around an address or a pinpoint marker. If the built-in GPS detects movement outside of this area, the unit will send you a notification via the Mobile App. You can set up to 20 different area zones with sizes ranging from 100m to 600km allowing protection at home, work or any other favourite locations.
 
THINKWARE CLOUD: LOCATE VEHICLE
Track your vehicles current location, with updates every ten seconds, through your mobile phone.
The Locate Vehicle function of the Thinkware Cloud app, updates every 10 seconds with the vehicle's current location along with the speed and heading onto Google maps. Vehicle tracking systems like this are also popular as a theft prevention, monitoring and retrieval device. Police can simply follow the signal emitted by the car dash cam and locate the stolen vehicle.
 
THINKWARE CLOUD: DRIVING IMPACT NOTIFICATION
Notify your family and friends, with footage, in the event of a strong impact detected by the Dashcam's G-Sensor.
The Impact Notification system will notify others of an emergency, alerting them of an impact greater than 3G or 4G. This allows the family, or owner of the vehicle, to remotely check the situation from their location via the cloud app. A video (10 seconds before and after the incident) will also be uploaded directly to the Thinkware Cloud server with an alert sent to the user via the App.
 
THINKWARE CLOUD: LIVE VIEW
Watch what is happening in real-time. Monitor your vehicle with your smartphone, no matter where you are.
By connecting through the Thinkware Cloud App, you will be able to see footage from your U1000 Dash Cam as it happens. This footage is live streamed to your smartphone at a lower quality (768x452p at 15fps) to help lower your phone's data usage.
 
CONTINUOUS RECORDING MODE
The camera's SD card's auto-looping system overwrites the oldest footage, allowing new clips to be saved in its place.
This mode is activated automatically when you start the engine. Recorded videos are saved in one-minute segments with an auto-looping mechanism. The one-minute clips begin to be overwritten once the dashboard camera's memory card is full, allowing full use of the SD card's capabilities. When reviewing footage, these segments are organised by a timestamp within the dashcam files.
 
INCIDENT RECORDING MODE
The dash camera automatically records 10 seconds before and after any impact event for you and ensures this will not be overwritten.
If the camera's built-in G-sensors detect an impact, the 10 seconds of footage before and after the incident will automatically be saved to a separate section of the SD card. This prevents the Continuous Recording Mode from deleting this footage. These recordings can be easily accessed using the Thinkware App and can quickly provide you or your insurers valuable information on an incident.
 
MANUAL RECORDING MODE
Save the previous 10 seconds and following 50 seconds of footage. Ideal for recording something happening on the road ahead.
In the event of a incident on the road, or just a nice view in the distance, you can press the camera's emergency button to save previous 10 and following 50 seconds of footage. This one minute clip is saved in the dash cam's incident folder for viewing at a later time. Once stored on the Dash Cam's SD Card, the footage can be viewed using the Thinkware App at your convenience.
 
HIGH-TEMPERATURE PROTECTION SYSTEM
Protects your dashboard camera from overheating and causing potentially irreversible damage to it or its data.
The specially designed heat discharge construction and the built-in thermal sensor of the dash cam protects the device and its data against intense heat by automatically turning it off to prevent overheating. All Thinkware cameras use a Super Capacitor, designed with Temperature Protection, for an emergency power source in the event of a crash or sudden power loss, allowing the unit to save the last 10 seconds of an incident.
